Your wishes will be taken into account by the chef de cuisine and star chef Frank Aldinger. Every dish is full of love, creativity and regional ingredients.
Restaurant opening hours
We would like to serve you the finest delights from morning to night during the following opening hours:
- Breakfast from 7.00 am to 10.30 am: In the restaurant or on the sun terrace; breakfast in the room is possible (with breakfast wish list, available with reservation).
- Lunch snacks from 0.30 pm to 2.00 pm: The restaurant serves a buffet with small hot and cold delicacies.
- Afternoon snacks from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm: Cakes and sweet pastries await you at the hotel bar.
- Dinner from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm: In the evening, a 5-course menu is served daily and on Thursdays you can enjoy a 6-course gala dinner.
We take reservations in advance or on-site until 2:00 pm each day, prices on request.
Diversity of enjoyment in the restaurant in Oberstdorf
The chef de cuisine Frank Aldinger places special emphasis on the use of regional ingredients. Seasonal fruits and vegetables come from local farmers. Meat, sausage and cheese products are also from a local butchery and dairy, and eggs and dairy products are obtained from local farms.

But not only at dinner you can enjoy vegan-vegetarian delicacies, already at the breakfast buffet you will find all sorts of suitable products such as fruits, vegetables, almond and oat milk, vegan bread variations and much more. Salads and matching dressings as well as vegetarian snacks are also offered at lunch. As you can see or read, we adapt ourselves to your individual wishes and needs.

Every Thursday the gala evening with a 6-course gourmet menu takes place and it is set up like in old France. On Friday there is an international buffet and Sundays are dedicated to traditional Oberstdorf cuisine.
