The location of our hotel is unique: We are located on the outskirts of Oberstdorf, are thus very quiet, close to nature, but still central and near the center of the village.
What is a perfect summer vacation for you? A lot of sports, enjoyment or recreation? Here in Oberstdorf you can have everything and combine it with one another. The summer in the Allgäu is just as versatile and individual as yourself.
Hiking, cycling, swimming, golfing or long walks in the evening sun – you have a variety of activities available. Also for the adventurous, all sorts of adventure sports are offered.
Thanks to its location in the Allgäu Alps, the winter in Oberstdorf is snowy and beautiful. In particular, the skiing area Oberstdorf-Kleinwalsertal with a total of 130 km of slopes and 48 lifts and cable cars invites you to skiing fun. You can actively move through the winter landscape while skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, winter hiking or walking and experience the winter in the Allgäu to your heart's content. Especially the Nordic Week and Nordic Days put the sports cross-country skiing and biathlon in the center.
The Allgäu-Walser Card is your personal, electronic guest card. With this card, you get many services in the area discounted or can even use attractions for free. You receive the Allgäu-Walser Card upon arrival, including an information folder about all discounted and included offers. A deposit of € 5 is on the card and will be retained in the event of loss or damage.
Both in summer and in winter, there is a lot going on in the Allgäu. You can expect traditional events such as the Alpenrosenfest (alpine rose festival) in summer or the Alpabtrieb in autumn (ceremonial driving down of cattle from the mountain pastures into the valley). But there are also top events in winter such as the opening jumping competition of the Four Hills Tournament, the FIS Ski Flying World Cup of the men or the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup of the ladies. Musical highlights such as concerts by the Oberstdorf Musikkapelle (brass band) or the New Year's Eve Alpine Ball are also part of the event calendar.
