The Villa Jauss
The Villa Jauss was built in 1895 by the Oberstdorf innkeeper and master brewer Melchior Jauss. Clear proportions, the square floor plan and the wooden cladding above the entrance testify to Jauss' love for South Tyrol. Today, interesting exhibitions are held there.
Abbachkapelle, Marienkapelle and Josephskapelle
The three Loretto chapels Abbachkapelle, Marienkapelle and Josephskapelle are only a five-minute walk away from the hotel Exquisit. They are the 10th (and last) station of the Oberstdorf way of the cross, which begins at the Catholic parish church. If you are looking for inner reflection, here is the right place of contemplation.

"Ora et labora" – in the monastery Ottobeuren: 1200 years of monastery history characterize the Benedictine abbey. The monks in the monastery still live according to the rules of Saint Benedict – "pray and work". The Basilica of Ottobeuren is one of the most important constructions of European Baroque. It is famous for its ornate stucco marble altars and Rococo-style interiors.
