Musicians & Artists in the Hotel Exquisit

Those staying at the Hotel Exquisit, will "breathe" music.

Atmospheric music on the piano by Jo Jasper or Robert Kucharski at the hotel bar, contemplative harp music by Verena Raps or Melinda Rodrigues by the fireplace or pop and soul evergreens by Franz Greiter and many more.

Another musical highlight is the 'exquisite' music festival with an illustrious array of classical music interpreters.

Exquisite music festival

Every summer since 2012, the 'exquisite' music days festival takes place under the motto "Oberstdorf welcomes Dresden". This year, the successful event was held for the fourth time and focused on works from the Classical, Baroque and Romantic periods. Depending on the topic, different artists are invited together with the chamber orchestra of the Saxon Staatskapelle Dresden. One thing is always guaranteed – musical sound fireworks are offered.
From July 14, 2019 to July 18, 2019, we are looking forward to the "Exquisite Music Days Festival". The exact program follows.

Jo Jasper

The music touches what the spoken word cannot reach. - Jo Jasper -

With his piano and his voice, he inspires and touches people. Firstly it is always important to Jo Jasper to meet his audience. He interprets a well-known repertoire in his own way and takes his audience on a musical journey through the different genres. He also incorporates his own songs.

Severin Titscher & Benny Berwanger

The two young talents come from musical families in which this tradition is still alive. They have all received multiple prizes and awards at music competitions. They represent the pinnacle of young folk music in the Allgäu.

Thirteen-year-old Severin Titscher has produced his first yodeling sounds at the age of 6 months while sitting in the high chair. The 12-year-old Benny Berwanger from Niederdorf, already impressed his audience as a five-year-old playing with his Styrian harmonica while sitting on a beer crate.

BACK TO THE ROOTS is the motto of Franz Greiter, guitar/keyboard/vocal, Werner Freiwald, drums and Anton Renic, bass. The three professionals know how to make a crazy party out of a blues soul country rock concert.

The bluesy and soulful voice of Franz Greiter and above all his rhythmic and harmonically hot guitar playing, combined with the hot groove of Anton Renic and Werner Freiwald, make every evening an acoustic and visual treat.

Robert Kucharski

Robert Kucharski

Whether dinner, concert, bar or dance music - Robert Kucharski is a performer on a high level and feels very well in his role as the "man at the piano".

After completing his double bass and piano studies at the conservatory of his hometown of Warsaw, Robert Kucharski had been admitted as a double bass player to a large Polish radio and television orchestra for several years. In the Warsaw Music Theater "Modern Theater" he worked as a pianist and as an arranger for many performances such as the "Threepenny Opera" and the opera "Mahagonny". In 1984, the then 26-year-old musician moved to Germany as a distinctive pianist.

Benno Wechs, Melinda Rodrigues

Harpist Melinda Rodrigues and Benno Wechs founded a duo with a Styrian harmonica and double bass under the motto "Harp meets Styrian". But the music style of the two Oberallgäu musicians goes far beyond the alpine folk music. Thus, after a short time Benno Wechs used the double bass to skillfully emphasize spirited South American rhythms of the harp.
In their current program the listener can unmistakably hear the roots of the two Oberallgäu musicians, but also the curiosity to peer beyond the horizon can clearly be felt.

Every now and then there is a joke to hear, an Allgäu anecdote or a toast. And everything close to the audience.

Yes, but what does "Mitanond" mean? Quite simply, how does it sound the most beautiful and how do you have fun and joy? Of course together, through a togetherness, in the Allgäu "Mitanond". Wolfgang on the accordion, Klausi on double bass and Manfred on guitar are looking forward to play for you!
